Message	and the composition of the pad itself are what causes outgassing. It is prevailent in any pad. Your Pep Boys "lifetime pads" are REALLY going to outgas. Stillens, not so much. The only way to solve outgassing is to use cross-drilled or slotted rotors so as the gasses can escape somehow.
